Oh what fun! Today we explored with physics and heights. The children used ladders to drop balls down the pipe. They had to figure out their comfort levels with the ladders. Some children loved the height and others were more comfortable on the short step. The children also took turns standing in the other end of the pipe and catching the balls that their peers send down. This play relied a lot on trusting the child and allowing them the space to build trust with their bodies. The children cooperatively walked their turns for the ladder and understood safety rules. What a fun morning we have had!
