Hoy Creek Hatchery Visit!

Yesterday we went to the Hoy Creek Hatchery down in the forest. We met Anne and volunteer worker Maya. They were so amazing! Anne sat us down for a story time in the Forest. We learnt all about the different stages of a salmons life. Then we explored around the hatchery. We saw real life examples of the salmon life cycle stages, a vampire fish, critters and the incubators. We are so fortunate for the wonderful people who keep our backyard creek safe and clean. They do it all out of their own heart too!
