Goal of the Week; Helping Hands

We filled our bucket from our last goal and are on to our new goal. This weeks goal is; I will use my helping hands.

Right after we explained the goal, Q noticed K hadn't put on their shoes from after nap yet. K went over to Q to put on the shoes. Q immediately started helping K put on his shoes. Even though it "wasn't working!", with some perseverance and team work Q & K were able to get K's shoes on. When the job was accomplished Q looked up at her Educator nearby and smiled widely saying "I did it!!". Both children appeared so happy with the interaction. Then the educator went with Q to fill in a circle.

We cannot wait to see how the children help one another throughout the week. This goal will help build confidence, connection, empathy, and trust.
