Cutting with a Knife!

We cut our apples all by ourselves (wellll with a wee bit of help and immense safety discussions and two teachers supervising!). The children were taught the safety protocols and how to use the sharp knife. Initially the children got hand over hand and then they got a chance to try themselves. They kept their free hand out of the way to ensure their fingers were safe. They are so capable and really understood the expectations.
